Your prestige - Does windup Accounts Help Or Hurt?

When applying for a mortgage loan, you might hear your lender say that you have too many accounts open and that end some of them will help expand your credit score. So you might think, I guess I could do without some of my older accounts when, truth is, end some of those aged accounts might hurt your score rather than help.

Credit scoring verily benefits you when you use it wisely. Paying your bills on time and not racking up large balances on your cards will simply not hurt your score. Having a bunch of unused lines of credit will. The key is to use available credit in moderation and being responsible with those cards over a measure of time.

Kitchenaid Blender

Two reasons why end your accounts could negatively affect your score is as follows:

When you close older accounts, the ones you have left will make it appear that your credit history is younger than it is in reality. So if you go and apply for a mortgage and someone says the loan is contingent upon you end some of your accounts, be sure to close more recent cards rather than the ones you've had for some time. Again, end more aged accounts will hurt your score.

When you close credit accounts, your available amount of credit will be reduced and the ration of debt used vs. available credit will rise dramatically. This will make you appear to be a credit risk driving your credit down. Lenders refer to this figure as a debt utilization ratio, which is looked at closely.

Say you have 0 of outstanding charges on your credit cards. You have 3 credit cards with 00 worth of credit limit on them which totals 00 of available credit. This would put your debt utilization ratio at 10% (600/6000). Retention your debt use at 10% or lower of available credit will supervene in your best credit score.

Now suppose you are asked by your lender to close one of those accounts. Your credit limit would then be a total of 00 addition your debt utilization ratio to 15%(600/4000). This would likely supervene in your credit score dropping if all things else on your credit history didn't change.

So if you are asked to close some of your credit lines in order to qualify for a mortgage, go ahead and do so, just go about it carefully. Close the latest accounts and keep older ones open. It's still likely that your score will drop down, but only for a short time. You can bring the score back up by paying down existing debt after end on the mortgage, reducing your debt utilization ratio.

This is easier said then done, but getting yourself into the institution of paying off your equilibrium in full each month and not carrying over any debt is verily the best way to drive your credit score high. Your financial situation will then be healthier overall.

Since credit can be a serious addiction, you may consider end some of your credit cards if you tend to make unwise decisions with them. Some tend to max out card after card. Not only will that cause you financial hardships, but it will cause your credit score to plummet drastically.

Must Have Kitchen Appliances

There are adequate small kitchen appliances on the shop that, assuming you had the cash, you could use a separate one each night for evening meal for an whole year.  With this in mind, I've narrowed down the most important ones to the three that I most frequently use.  Two of them are very similar, but do very separate things; and the other is a low-tech tool that can be used for nearly every meal.

Food processor - I have two food processors that I all the time use.  A 3-cup KitchenAid Chef's Chopper and the 14-cup Cuisinart convention 14 food processor.  Both of them get equal use, but for very separate things.  I love to make peanut butter and hummus with the large one, and sauces, dressings, and bread crumbs with the small one.  Both machines are built like tanks and have had no issues during their lives.

Kitchenaid Blender

Blender - In essence, a blender does nearly the same thing as a food processor.  It uses a blade to mix and chop food.  Have you ever tried to make peanut butter in a blender?  It doesn't work.  The biggest use for a blender (aside from margaritas) is turning chunky sauces in to smooth, creamy ones.  This is important for production pastas, jerk sauce, and Bbq sauce.

Microplane - a microplane is an very low tech invention that functions like a cheese grater, but works much more efficiently.  There is a plastic adapter that slides onto the microplane that allows you to slide back and forth without scraping your finger tips, a very smart investment.  With a microplane you can grate garlic, onion, and carrot so thin that they melt in the saute pan, which is excellent for starting any pasta sauce.

These three small kitchen appliances are the cornerstone of any meal at my house, and they should be the same at yours.

What Should You Look for When Buying a Toaster Oven?

Toaster ovens are productive miniature cooking appliances that can cook a variety of things and are low-cost, so if you're in the shop to buy one it is a wise choice. Let's analyze what you should look for when buying a toaster oven - there are a few key considerations to keep in mind before determining your final purchase.

Here is a basic summary of the main things to focus on when trying to find the right toaster oven that is suitable for you:

Kitchenaid Blender

• Cost

• Size

• Functionality

• Brand recognition

• buyer feedback

Cost

This is often the main concern for anything when seeing to buy any type of goods no matter what it is. If you're seeing for something bigger that has more functionalities, you are going to have to pay a higher price. If you are seeing for a toaster oven at the cheapest price possible, then you will be able to find one at rock lowest prices, whether it is online or at Walmart, Target or some other appliance store.

For dirt cheap possibilities, check the online classified sites. You can find great deals for used items on sites like Craigslist and Backpage. Heck, I once had a small toaster oven, and when I moved, I didn't want to drag it with me, so I gave it away on Craigslist for free. So deals are to be had if you are in the right place at the right time. New toaster ovens range from to 0 in price. Of course, if you want to buy the best of the best, then the Breville Bov800Xl is for you.

Size

This can be a key element, depending on how many citizen in your household you are cooking for, and whether you plan to just use it as a supplement to your main oven. You're lucky to cook two meals or four slices of bread in the smallest toaster ovens. On the other hand, you can cook a regular-sized turkey in the larger ones. You'll be lucky to cook two servings or entrees in a smaller unit, but you could get away with cooking up to four in a larger one. If you plan to use it for baking a lot of larger items likes cakes and pies, then you need a medium to large size unit.

Functionality

The functionality you are seeing for in a toaster oven is other thing to consider. Do you want to be able to bake? What about broiling? Then there are special features such as auto shut off, timed cooking and auto cleaning. Make sure the functionality will be something you will really use, and not something that just "sounds neat".

Brand Recognition

Do you want to go with the popular, mainstream brands like Cuisinart, Breville or Kitchen Aid? Or some of the less known ones or well-known brands that are trying to break into this shop like Euro-Pro, Delonghi or Wolfgang Puck? Some of these brands look to assault a sure segment of the market. For example, Wolfgang Puck introduces more of a high-end toaster oven that caters to the gastronome crowd.

Breville is a well-known brand that has a lot of dissimilar kitchen appliances available such as blenders, toasters, pressure cookers and coffee makers, so they seem to be a trustworthy brand. Black & Decker imparts the word "quality" in their brand from their history as a beloved tools provider. That and the fact that they have a lot of dissimilar toaster models available make them to seem like a decent brand to choose. The key thing about brand is make sure the business backs their products. The toaster oven you buy should have at least a one year warranty attached to it.

Customer Feedback

This is a great way to explore a toaster oven to find one that is best for you. Just crusade online for buyer reviews and see the feedback on the various models. You can find reviews on Amazon, Google Products, Price Grabber and all the major retail and shopping sites. You'll find out which models have consistent problems so you know to avoid them. You'll see which features customers tend to enjoy so if you have the same interest in that feature, then possibly that is the model for you.

Most of the sites will have ratings as well that citizen can give each product. Keep in mind the higher whole of reviews, the more likely those reviews will really reflect the ability of the product. Most shoppers tend to be more motivated by bad experiences than good experiences as far as leaving reviews, so you can slightly bump up the allembracing buyer satisfaction a miniature bit when analyzing the reviews.

Let's look at a combine of models so we can see what kind of toaster ovens are going for which prices.

Sunbeam 6198 4-Slice Toaster Oven, White

First up is the Sunbeam 6198 toaster oven. I chose this model to look at because it is more on the lower end for price, size and functionality. Also, I really once owned a Sunbeam model similar to this one. This model is small - you can cram four pieces of toast in it or possibly a combine of pieces of chicken. It does have some decent functionality to it. It has timed cooking with auto shut off, climatic characteristic operate and dual baking/broiling cooking. You can find this model for as low as , but typically it will be closer to , which is what is it going for currently on Amazon.

I really had a great caress with my Sunbeam, but this model only seems to get average reviews on Amazon. possibly citizen were expecting more. It was perfect for me when I moved into a temporary place that did not have an oven. I was able to use this model to cook sandwiches, entrees (like chicken, pork and steak), potatoes, French fries and roasted vegetables. I'm not much of a baker, so I didn't use it for that. However, it was also great for swiftly reheating leftover and frosty foods. The ability of food cooked matched that of a quarterly oven, and it even cooked the food faster. It really met all my cooking needs.

Breville Bov800Xl, the best toaster oven

The higher-end toaster ovens tend to range around 0. This Breville model currently is priced at just under 0 on Amazon, and it is quite a fancy model. It features digital controls and is pretty astronomical as well with an interior volume that's larger than half a cubic foot. You can conveniently fit six slices of bread inside, or even a rotisserie chicken if you're seeing to cook supper for the family. Check the spin of the Breville Bov800Xl

Remember to keep all these key things in mind, which are what should you look for when buying a toaster oven. We hope you found the information useful, and best of luck seeing your perfect toaster oven!

Food processors take the time out of coarse kitchen tasks, such as chopping, cutting, slicing, pureeing, kneading, grinding, grating, and shredding. Some bowls come with markings up the side of the bowls to indicate how much you have processed without having to get a measuring cup out. Some food processor brands even allow you to interchange bowl sizes on the same processor.

The main bonus of food processor attachments are the various blades and discs you can pick from. Many blades are universal, so regardless of what processor you have, they will most likely fit. The blades make the food processor. Depending on what blades you have dictate what you can do with your processor. The most coarse blade is an s-shaped blade, which comes with the processor when you purchase it. How to Use a Blender - Do's and Don'ts

The KitchenAid Food Processor vs the Blender

When most citizen think of smoothies and frozen drinks, they typically think of the blender. The blender has long been a staple of kitchens and bars everywhere. It can chop ice, it can puree soups and salsas and it can even chop up fruits and vegetables into fine pieces. However, if you've never used a KitchenAid food processor before, you'll be surprised to find out that a can do many things a blender can't.

Put side by side, they don't look that different. Both have a stockroom where the food is chopped or pureed, and there is a motor in the base that is controlled by a switch or a series of buttons. But that's where the similarities end.

Kitchenaid Blender

Blenders

It's coarse knowledge that blenders are great at blending things, obviously. They are exquisite for any kind of cold or frozen drinks where you have to add ice to give it a puny thickness and texture. Blenders are great at crushing ice, in case, granted it's a good one, and it's rare to find a kitchen without one. Bodybuilders use them for protein shakes, cooks use them for salsas and gravies and kids use them for milkshakes.

However, when it comes to blenders, they certainly can't hold up against food processors when it comes to more solid foods. Have you ever put a whole apple into a blender to see what would happen? The apple does get chopped, but it's often halfway done. The blender's just not sufficient when it comes to solid foods. That's why many citizen prefer the food processor over the blender, for a whole of reasons.

Ice Makers and Dispensers

All food service operations need ice, and the simplest way to meet that need is to have an icemaking motor that freezes, "harvests," and stores ice automatically. There are large, standalone machines that produce up to 3000 pounds of ice per day; medium-size, undercounter models that make up to 200 pounds per day; or small, countertop ice makers that deliver as small as 1 pound of ice per hour. You will sometimes see ice makers referred to as ice cubers. Before you buy an ice machine, you should not just determine how much ice you'll need, but where you will need it. If there are some sites for ice consumption-garde manger area, bar, wait stations-you might be best off with some smaller machines in various locations instead of everyone hauling ice from a single, large unit.

We'll talk in a moment about how to determine your ice needs. Ice-making machines are refrigeration units. The ice is made when a pump circulates water from a tank. The water runs trough tubing to a frozen assembly, which freezes it into a particular sheet. The frozen sheet is then cruhed or forced straight through a screen to produce ice cubes. Distinct types of screens produce Distinct sizes and shapes of cubes. After the ice is crushed or cubed, it is automatically dumped into a storage bin. When the bin fills to capacity, a sensor inside the motor shuts it down until there is room to make and store more ice. Because most of the ice maker's parts come into direct experience with water, it is important that components be made of rustproof materials.

Kitchenaid Blender

Ice maker capacity is thought about by how many pounds of ice the unit can produce in a 24-hour period. However, any machine's output (and the quality of the ice itself) will be affected by some factors: Incoming water temperature. The ideal is 50 degrees Fahrenheit; warmer water makes the motor work harder. Room temperature. The ideal is about 70 degrees Fahrenheit. If installed in an environment that has an ambient temperature of 80 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, reconsider getting a unit with a water-cooled condenser to compensate for hot, humid, or grease-laden air. Incoming water pressure. The minimum water pressure should be 20 pounds per square inch (psi); recommended pressure is in the middle of 45 and 55 psi.

Anything higher than 80 psi will cause malfunctions. Water quality. Hard water will cause the motor to work more slowly and approximately always necessitates some kind of pretreatment before the water enters the machine. The fewer minerals and chemicals in the water, the more swiftly and harder it will freeze, and the more slowly it will melt. Filtration is approximately always a good idea. Read manufacturers' output claims thought about and you'll find they are often based on ideal conditions: incoming water temperature of 50 degrees Fahrenheit and ambient air temperature of 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Generally, a 10-degree growth in air temperature means daily ice output decreases by 10 percent.

Also study the water and power usage figures in case, granted by the manufacturer. You'll note that there is a wide range: from 15 to 27 gallons of water to produce 100 pounds of ice, using from 5 to 10 kilowatts of electricity. An further source to check is the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration establish (Ari), the national trade association that represents about 90 percent of manufacturers. Ironically, Ari data rates ice motor output capacities using more realistic conditions than the manufacturers' sales literature-with incoming water temperature at 70 degrees Fahrenheit and ambient air at 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Ari also rates machines by how many kilowatthours and how much water they need to produce 100 pounds of ice. The group's "CoolNet" Web site can be found at http://www.ari.org.

No matter where the ice maker is located, it needs a source of cold water and drainage. Particularly significant is a one-inch air gap in the middle of the ice maker's drain line and the nearest floor drain. This is a significant precaution to preclude a backflow of soiled water into the ice bin. Wherever you install the ice maker, allowable plumbing will be mandated by your local condition department. A recessed floor below the unit is also recommended. Along with around drainage, this ensures that spilled ice does not melt on the floor and cause accidents. One smart choice is to install an inlet chiller along with your ice machine. About the size of a household fire extinguisher, it collects the water that would commonly be discharged from the ice maker into the drain. Instead, the water recirculates first straight through a series of copper coils in a room that contains fresh water on its way into the ice maker.

The cold outgoing water chills the coils, which chill the fresh incoming water and allow it to freeze more swiftly for faster ice production. The inlet chiller, which has no inspiring parts and uses no electricity, can save up to 30 percent on the electricity used to run the ice maker and boost its capacity by 50 percent. There is also a need for air circulation around the unit. An ice maker gives off warm air, like any refrigerator, and should be located at least 4 inches from the wall to allow for ventilation. Those are just a few of the factors to reconsider in your "life cycle" calculation. Others are listed in the next "Foodservice Equipment" box.

Just as there are Distinct motor capacities, there are also various sizes of storage bins. Most operators choose a blend ice maker and storage bin; by adding an extra 20 percent to the total capacity of each, you'll (theoretically) never run out. Ergonomics experts add that bins with a depth of more than 16 or 18 inches are hard to reach for employees that must scoop from the bottom. Look for storage compartments with volume sensors, so output cuts off automatically when the bin is full. When ice tumbles out every time you open the bin, you're just wasting it.

A final important notice is the length of time it takes the motor to perfect one ice-making cycle. Under general conditions, the whole freezing-harvesting-ejection period should take no longer than 15 to 20 minutes for the finished cubes to hit the storage bin. Now that we've discussed the motor itself, what kinds of ice do you want it to make? There are many Distinct cubed-ice options. Large cubes (full cubes) melt more slowly, so they're good for banquet situations where glasses must be set out early. They may be awkward in some glasses and may give the appearance of a less-than-full drink.

Smaller, half cubes stock best into most glasses and are beloved in bar settings. Even smaller cubelets are recommend for soft drinks, because they fill the glass or cup so well (and therefore make your soft drink provide go further). Nugget ice is flaked ice that has been compacted into high-density, random-size chunks that melt slowly and are easier on blender blades than cubed ice. Nugget ice is a good choice for soft drinks and smoothies. Round shapes fit a glass best at its edges. Rectangular cubes stack best than round ones, leaving fewer voids in the glass. Your clientele, your glassware, and your type of service will determine the right shape for you.

Being one of the most generally used kitchenware, it authentically pays if you pick the right blender for you in order to spare you from the hassle of constant replacements of the whole blender or blender parts.

Kitchenaid Blender

• For the blender jar:

- The most tasteless material used for this part is transparent plastic. Blenders made of plastic are usually the cheapest ones. usually it is thick enough to withstand cracks due to constant use. When cracks appeared on the surface of the jar, bacteria can lanch to the food inside

- Stainless steel blender jar can be more durable than plastic. However, steel is branch to dents and scratches. Aside from that you will not be able to see the food inside.

- original material for the blender jar is the glass. Nowadays, the glasses of the blender jar are made thick enough to withstand breakage such as accidental drop on hard surfaces.

• Cover and Lid - usually this is made of plastic and rubber defiant to high impacts. Among the blender parts, this is the first one branch to breakage.

• The Collar and Sealing Gasket - These are the parts where the food is protected from leakage from the blender jar and keeps it water tight. This is usually made of rubber and constant use will make you replace these parts every now and then.

• The motor - this is the part where you control the speed of the mixing component. The voltage of this part ranges from 250 watts to 1800 watts. The rule of the thumb here is that the higher the voltage, the more precious it is.

pro Blender

Professional blenders will pack a punch into what every you blend. Many of you may be well-known with the blendtec blender YouTube video's "will it blend?" But yes, these pro blenders can blend things fluctuating from marbles to iPod's.

Personally, I don't find myself blending iPods or marbles, but it proves the point that they can blend whatever that your wild salutary heart may desire fast, efficiently and last longer without needing to be repaired or replaced.

Kitchenaid Blender

Some of the most beloved brand names comprise Vitamix and of procedure Blendtec. Other good brands comprise Waring-Commercial and Kitchen aid.

Although lots of citizen do use pro (sometimes called "commercial") blenders in their own homes they are most often used in restaurants, bars, hotels, and catering companies. One of the big reasons for this is price. These blenders range from 0-600 and I've seen some as pricey as ,000. If you're just getting into blending this may not be the pick for you. But if you know you love to blend than you'll find that this is a worthwhile investment.

Your smoothies recipes will take less time to make. The consistency will be much smoother and best of all the blender will last much longer. In short: They're awesome!

So why so expensive? Well, as I explained above these blenders are all heavy duty. You'll have no trouble blending ice in these babies, as these machines indeed pack a punch.

A second intuit is that, commonly speaking these blenders last a lot longer. Most brands come with warranties fluctuating 5 to 10 years, varying of procedure from enterprise to company. I do have to mention that sometimes these warranties cost a minute extra. The Vitamix blender, for example comes with a seven-year warranty, but if you want to enlarge it to ten years you have to pay . So make sure to read the warranty on the product, but like I said, industrial impel blenders commonly have much good warranties than what you'd buy at the store for the easy intuit that they're selling to enterprise who want that security. So, get a professional blender and get blending!

Cooking With Toaster Ovens - Small Appliances With Big Cooking Features

In a country where the rise in population is directly proportional to the fall of ready space, it is very practical to live in smaller units such as apartments. However, the hazard of living in such small places is that your appliances and furniture tend to be smaller, too. Your refrigerator is smaller, your bed is smaller, and even your toilet bowl is smaller. So, when the time comes that you need an oven for a extra dinner, all you can do is scratch your head.

But that is not the case anymore. Because appliance manufacturers noticed the need for smaller yet fully functional appliances, they have produced toaster ovens. You might think, "I won't be able to bake in that thing." That is where you are wrong.A lot of moms know the need of owning an oven at home. Without one, you will not be able to make decent lasagna or bake cookies for fundraising events. With a toaster oven, cooking these things is no question at all.

Kitchenaid Blender

Toaster ovens come in two distinct types, the first one is the plain oven where you are just little to toasting breads and grilling a sausage. The second one, however, performs functions of a normal oven and allows you to bake, broil, and grill, perfect with timer and climatic characteristic controls.

Toaster oven cooking is surely very easy if you already know how to use a full sized oven. The controls are pretty much the same, allowing you to fiddle with the controls for customized settings. Most toaster ovens have controls of either you want to turn on both the top and lowest wires or just one at a time. They also come with a convection function, making sure that the climatic characteristic is distributed equally inside the oven.

The convection operate commonly serves as the rotisserie operate as well, allowing this type of cooking for chicken. Normally, a rod and two locks are included n the box when purchasing a toaster oven and, having tried one, I could say that the locks surely do a good job in retention the chicken secured.

Toaster ovens commonly use electricity to operate, although it does not consume as much as a full sized galvanic oven does. The size, like mentioned, is excellent for smaller families.

There are a few drawbacks in this kind of cooking, however. Since the oven is smaller, the space between the hot rods and the food is greatly reduced. Because of that, food seems to cook quicker compared to a larger oven. It is also quite hard to fit a turkey inside, again because of the size. But that one can surely be solved by replacing it with a smaller bird such as a chicken. After all, Thanksgiving does not come nearby every day.

Toaster ovens are excellent for families living in smaller spaces or for anything who cannot afford a decent full size oven yet. It performs most of the functions of the real one at a smaller size and a relatively smaller price, as well.

Accessories for the KitchenAid Stand Mixer

There are many accessories for the KitchenAid Stand mixer. In fact, there are a lot more than when I bought my mixer. I have used a lot of them but not all. Since I am retired now I don't cook or bake much anymore, but if I were cooking and baking a lot, I would have to get more attachments. In fact, I just might get some anyway.

I think one of the best things that come with the mixer is the Pouring Shield. It lets you add ingredients while mixing and keeps them from splattering out all over the place. I know when I didn't have one and tried to add something to my batter, it would go everywhere but the bowl. Well some of it went in the bowl but a lot didn't. Of course I could have cut the mixer off, added it and started mixing again, but that would have been a lot of trouble.

Kitchenaid Blender

The Wire Whip is great for whipping up egg whites for meringues. It puts air in the egg whites so that they are fluffy and pretty. The wire whip is good for whipping up whip cream, also, or anything that u want to put air into. Although I have never tried to use it for mixing up dough for bread etc.; I understand that it is not good for that. There is a Dough Hook for mixing dough, of course. I have used the dough hook and it works indubitably well.

Another great attachment is the Mixer Attachment Pack. It has a food polisher with fine and common grist blades, four cones, two for slicing and two for shedding, plus a fruit and veggie strainer. You can get a Food Tray attachment and a Sausage Stuffer Kit to use with it. I have used all of these and they work great. They are easy to attach and remove, which I like very much.

There are a lot of other attachments that you can get. I would love to have and plan to get some tops for my mixing bowls. There is a SideSwipe flat beater that I think would be great. It makes sure you get all the stuff off the sides of the mixing bowl. They have a Pasta Excellence Set Attachment Pack that I want, homemade pasta is great. And I have to get the Ice Cream Maker Attachment. That looks like it would be easier than the kind that you have to go face on the porch to make. And I am going to get the "Ben & Jerry's Homemade Ice Cream & sweetmeat Book" too.

Talking about ice cream makes me want to go get some now. And talking about all the attachments makes me want to start cooking. Hope this info helps you.

first-rate Kitchen Decor: The Retro Mixer

It is difficult to define what would be thought about a retro mixer. Stand mixers usually come to mind, but they have remained more or less unchanged, at least on the outside, since the middle 1930s. The main original differences between contemporary tabletop galvanic mixers and those produced in the past is the color task of the mixer and the bowl. Because of this, the history of galvanic mixers is somewhat simple (admittedly leaving out a lot of the corporate details!).

Prior to electricity, most mixing in the home was done by hand. For smoother mixtures, such as scrambled eggs or pancake batter a hand mixer was usually used. For thicker mixtures, such as bread dough, a large metal spoon was commonly the tool of choice. These were usually productive methods, but could be quite tiring and it was often difficult to yield a flat mixture.

The first commercial galvanic mixers were artificial by Hobart Manufacturing in the early 20th century. These were large, costly and were sold primarily to bakeries. The 80 quart mixer was a huge timesaver for production bread in commercial quantities, but wasn't practical for homes for inescapable reasons.

After World War I, the company, which had changed its name to the more buyer kindly KitchenAid, released the first 5 quart tabletop galvanic mixer for home use. Although well received, the mixer was still costly and weighed over 60 pounds. Because of this, only a few people purchased the mixer when it was released.

As time passed both the cost and the weight of galvanic mixers decreased and by the mid 1930s the price had dropped to colse to .00. costly back then, but within reach of many households. The popularity of galvanic mixers was helped by both the increased availability of electricity throughout the United States as well as an productive advertising campaign in which saleswomen would go door to door to demonstrate the uses of the galvanic mixers.

Although tabletop galvanic mixers are not as base as they have been in the past, they are still sold and the basic found hasn't changed for decades. Newer models have more technology and options, but they still consist of a mixer on a pedestal that can be rotated into a bowl. A "retro" galvanic tabletop mixer is very similar to the current version. Many of the older models had white trim and often a clear or colored glass bowl, while contemporary models often don't come with a bowl (the buyer supplies their own) or a plastic or metal bowl.

Fortunately, if you're looking to decorate your kitchen with a retro theme, there are mixers produced today that have a exact retro style. Even better, many of these are ready in separate found and color variations. One of the most popular models, the KitchenAid Artesian 5-Quart Stand Mixer, is ready in thirty separate colors!
